INSOMNISM - intro animatic

Opening cutscene animatic created traditionally and animated digitally. In this beginning scene of the game, we follow Somn returning back to his home among Blackwater Bayou, making his way through the dark forest. Although it appears he is not alone in his travels. Even as Somn is back in the comfort his own home, he cannot escape the tightening grasp of sleep - his reality and nightmares come to mesh with his body desperately fighting to retain control.
